Rhythm: The Photon Belt?
There
are many definitions and opinions floating around about the photon belt that
according to scientists, astrologers, and spiritual channelers, entered the
Earth’s solar system in 1980. And, although they may agree on the intensity of
the effect of this event they do not all agree on the physical and/or spiritual
transitions that may occur. Since
the first predicted arrival date in 1996 has since come and gone, the interest
in the photon belt has diminished significantly. However, if you look at astrological phenomenon expected yet to
occur in this year 2003, it is worth taking another look at it. “Have you noticed lately that you don't have
enough hours in the day, that you are feeling restless, frustrated and unhappy
with your life?…” – Lord Maitreya If the answer is yes to the previous question, then you might
want to take a look at more of the channeled words of Lord Maitreya. There is a very interesting message
here. Are people changing? Is the world
changing? For the better? Below are a few excerpts and you can read
the entire article at: http://www.maitreya-edu.org/channelings/photon.htm “….The Photon Belt is not only compacting time
but it is also changing our concept of linear time…….. It is bringing the
energy that we need to transform the earth plane for the better…..” “…This special message is not meant to be a
prophecy of doom, neither is it a warning. Catastrophes and unexpected
happenings have already started around the world, people ARE changing, and so
is life…… One thing is for sure and that is when it passes over the earth in
the year 2003, the earth plane will never be the same again……”. After reading
the previous article, you will find some correlating astrological discoveries,
such as the Harmonic Concordance – “…The Harmonic Concordance (of 2003) named in honor of its
predecessor, The Harmonic Convergence of 1987, occurs this year at the
moment of the total lunar eclipse of November 8/9*. Unlike the Harmonic Convergence, however -- due to the world-wide
nature of a lunar eclipse -- this powerful, once in a many millennium moment,
will occur at the same instant, in all time zones, around the globe…”
(Astrology supported by Science: http://astrosite.com/___QuantumPortal-11.htm) Date: 11/8/2003, Here are few excerpts from The 2003 Prophecies prepared by
Jan and Johnny Mirehiel. To read the
complete article go to http://astrosite.com/__JanM3.htm
“……….NOT to our very great surprise, we found prophets, priests,
preachers, psychics, and Shamans, (and more!) who—although coming from a wide
variety of ideological and philosophical backgrounds-- identify 2003 as a most
important one for humankind……” “….Something big is happening, folks,
and Time's role in the events of 2003 seems to be a common thread in many of
these prophecies. There are some who have asked us here at Astrosite to
"predict" what earth- changing events are going to occur on November
8, 2003. Our belief in that regard is simply that the only moment we ever
have is NOW. It is how we spend our allotment of NOWS, between now and
then, that will determine what happens for each of us when that date rolls
around. As it does, every day. For this reason our current work does not focus on the
specific outcomes of a linear Future, but rather on the idea of choosing to
live an Ascended Life, now. Time is indeed a "dimension of
action," and energy is continually moving from the void of potentialities
into the world of form, and back again. YOU are at the center of that
equation. Your ability to work with these subtle energies can be enhanced
by exercising the possibility that Time is a richer concept than you may have
thought, one in which all "outcomes" are nothing more than reflections of the
truths you acknowledge. Let no fear enter into the pure and peaceful
center of your soul…..” Love, peace, and divine blessings - Charlotte Life’s Simple Gifts:A Mere Matter of
Thought
Have you ever awakened to find that you are feeling a
sense of anger for no apparent reason, or sadness and,
yes, even joy, but you cannot put your finger on WHY you are feeling that way? Mercury retrograde; Saturn square Venus; Mars in close proximity to
Earth. What does it all mean? How do the
energies from the planets affect US from where we are? Is there anything we can do about what we feel in response
to these energies?
I've heard countless astrologers speak of negative or harsh aspects coming our way from the Heavens as if there was NO
escape. As if our only hope was to ride out the transit and 'hope for
the best'. As if there was nothing within OUR power to lessen the
effect. However, this leads us to wonder if we are indeed 'slaves' to our
charts, and I submit for your consideration that we are not. Indeed, I
believe most of us are in agreement that we certainly felt the closeness of Mars as was demonstrated by weeks of
feeling stressed, frustrated, aggressive, anxious and even angry at times during the
summer when he was at our back door. But, how much conditioning had we gone through that told us that
was exactly what we were supposed to be feeling? I don't mean to minimize the effect of Mars
energy; however, it rather becomes like the 'self
fulfilling prophecy' we all are familiar with; and similar to:
"think a thought and the thing appears". If we analyze with expectant
anticipation the possible effects of upcoming "harsh" or
"negative" transits, we could quite possibly cause the very thing to happen by placing so
much thought and feeling into the idea. For example, if you know that you are having a Venus/Neptune transit, it would be wise to use
caution when meeting new individuals with the idea in mind of starting
some kind of relationship. Since Venus
is associated with Love, and
Neptune can be deceiving, it may be best to wait until this transit has
passed. Now, one individual may look at
this transit and say,
"uh-oh, I better be careful.
Anyone I meet at this time is bound to be
deceitful", thereby increasing the chance of bringing that type of individual
into their experience. A more positive
way to look at it would be,
"ok, I'll just lay low and not move too quickly on anything romantic that arises
during this transit." (That last
idea could be further enhanced by
making a daily mantra of "Only Good, Honest, Loving people come into
my experience".) No big deal,
right? It seems, though, that as soon as
we decide to take the route of self control, the Universe presents
us with a test. Just to see, you
know? Which again, makes us remember that
it's really all about control. OUR OWN control over ouselves. Over our fears, and our passions. Over our emotional reactions to Life in
general. It's about temperance,
patience, love, serenity.....all of those
things. It's about progression, unfoldment and evolution. When we study our natal chart and the transiting planets, it really does help to identify why
we may respond to circumstance the way we do. But we shouldn't view it as 'our ticket out', i.e. we shouldn't
cop out on our lessons by taking the
stand of "of course I have a horrible temper, JUST LOOK AT MY
CHART!!!!!" We would be better
served by applying wisdom, temperance and
gratitude to the problem areas of our chart, and by USING the energies
of the planets in positive ways, rather than focusing on the negativity
the energy could sometimes entice us to enter into. It's a mere matter of thought....... Until next time.....Coral Perspectives:Episcopalians – Hard Line
Catholics or Spiritually Electic?
The
dogma and philosophy of this circle has always been eclectic. We, as spiritually eclectic individuals,
have always aspired to accept, tolerate and respect other pagan paths and other
religions, whether they be Wiccan, Druid, Celtic, Thelema, Hindu, Buddest, or
even (yes), Christian, Jewish or Muslim. In fact, we have a duty to do so. All
of these paths, in their pure and esoteric forms, are beautiful systems of
morality, veiled in allegory, illustrated by symbols and ritual. All of these
ceremonies are by no means of a light or trifling character, but are of great
importance and deep solemnity. The forms and ceremonies of all of these paths
have come down through the ages to impress upon the mind wise and serious
truths. Unfortunately,
all covens, churches and temples are manned, owned and operated by humans and
are accompanied by all of mankind’s shortcomings, faults and frailty. The three great “western” religions,
(Christianity, Judaism and Islam), perhaps as a result of their dogma, tend to
be very intolerant of other faiths. Most
Pagans resent Christianity because they feel, and not without historical
justification, that Christianity is not eclectic. It does not tolerate other
spiritual paths. Throughout it’s
history, it has gone out of its way to consume or destroy those who do not
believe. Few Pagans however, resent or
reject the teachings of Jesus. Many other faiths accept him as a great prophet,
teacher, wizard or Rabbi. Many Pagans consider Christ as an intrical part of
the spiritual one. I myself have been known to say: “It isn’t Christ that I
reject, it’s Christianity!” Wouldn’t
it be nice if at least one sect or denomination of Christianity could open
their minds and hearts and be tolerant of other faiths and practices? That day
may not be here yet, but perhaps it is just over the horizon. Once again turmoil besets the Episcopal
Church. Whether or not we agree with the resent ordination of a gay bishop, it
will most certainly cause yet further change in church practice and philosophy. The
church has gone through much change in its history. While the Church of Rome classifies it as Protestant, the Church
considers itself Anglican-Catholic.
This philosophy results from its formation. King Henry VIII, in essence,
simply fired the Pope. The only major change was all Liturgy was translated to
and printed in English. The church in the United States was re-named, after the American Revolution, as the Church
of England refused to recognize the church or to ordain Bishops in the former
colonies. The Scots and Irish, always
eager to stick it to the Brits, secretly ordained American Priests as Bishops.
The term Episcopate means:“ Bishops”.
Hence the church was named Episcopal: “of Bishops”. The
church remained mainly conservative and relatively unchanged until the late
1960’s. So conservative was the church, members could be excommunicated for
divorcing. Throughout the late 1960’s
and 1970’s, new forms of prayer and Liturgy were interimly introduced. After
many trials and tribulations, a new Book of Common Prayer, new practices and a
new philosophy was officially adopted in 1979. The philosophy became “Media
Dicta”, Latin for “middle of the road”.
What this means Spiritually is: somewhere between the right and the
left, the dark and the light, lies the real truth. Somewhat eclectic, for a
Christian Church, but also somewhat repugnant to conservatives! New philosophies included; ordaining female
priests, allowing divorce and remarriage, embracing Invetro-Fertilization and
even taking a “wishy-washy” stance on Pro-Choice. Many conservative
Episcopalians left the church, to form a more traditional Anglican Church.
Other conservative and fundamentalist Christians were outraged. They accused
the church of being "soft on sin" and coined the new term: “Episco-Pagan”. Although born of the derogatory, this is a
term in which I take personal pride. I was somewhat stunned a few years ago, when one
of the female priests at our church, handed me a book entitled: “Why
Christianity Must Change or Die” It was written by an Anglican/Episcopal Bishop
and totally turns the entire “Old Christian” way of thinking and belief system
up-side-down. I believe that it catapulted my personal journey to eclectic
spirituality. It is a fabulous book and can be purchased at Charlotte’s Web. Now, in
the 21st century the church faces perhaps its greatest challenge:
How to survive the aftermath of embracing gay clergy and parishioners. When I
first heard of this, I lamented, not for what was done, but for the obvious
consequences. The more that I reflect,
the more I see this as a positive occurrence.
The church is evolving. Needless to say, the last remnants of conservatives
will surely leave the church. What will
evolve? Hopefully, it will become an enlightened denomination of Christianity
that will transcend a path to a higher plane of spiritual existence. Perhaps,
it will truly accept other spiritual paths.
Perhaps we will see the day soon when the cross can truly merge with the
pentacle. That day may not be here yet, but perhaps the day is nigh! Let us
therefore wish them well. May the great mother goddess of earth, Budda, Shiva,
Shakti, and the god of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob go with them, and guide shield
and protect them on this, their perilous journey. Brad Toy Open MindOpen

What is
Reflexology? Reflexology
is an ancient method of foot care based upon the idea of Zone
Therapy. This idea considers the
existence of 10 zones, meridians or
pathways, in the body that lead to the vital organs. The reflex points
are located on the feet and hands and extend to the top of the head. As we
live and breath, we accumulate toxins in our body. The very nature
of gravity suggests the feet as an excellent place for these toxins to
gather. By applying gentle pressure to
the reflex points, the practioner
is able to break up the accumulated toxins and influence the energy
that passes through the meridians, thereby addressing any areas of congestion
or stress the individual may be experiencing. Regular
reflexology treatments can lead to increased energy, improved flow of
Chi, and an overall more 'balanced' feeling. Monthly Calendar: For workshop reservations or more
