NATURE'S RHYTHM: Health Solutions: Spring Tips

 

Spring is just about to hop into our laps like a child anticipating the

warm embrace of a parent. I have personally embraced the warmth of the sun

these past few days here in Atlanta and look forward to more of the same.

 

Along with individuals feeling alive and coming out of hibernation, so

does the foliage and all other living creatures.  The very foliage we admire

so much will also alert the allergies and a few of our favorite insects that

love the feast found in human tissue to 'wake up'. On the milder side, I

don't know about you, but after the winter nap, working in the yard or

garden also wakes up the muscles.  Not to mention dry skin.

 

This seems like a good time to offer a few natural ways to deal with these

challenges.

 

ALLERGIES / IMMUNE SYSTEM SUPPORT:  Essential oils of Orange, Lemon,

Lavender, Rosemary, Peppermint, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, and Sandalwood are

terrific spring blends. They not only help with respiratory distress but

they are also very uplifting and help with lymph and liver detoxification.

Put a few drops on a tissue and breathe in, or use in a bath.  Or, you can

make a room spray by mixing the essential oil blend with warm distilled

water.  For the person on the go, make a small spray diffuser that can be

carried in a purse or briefcase. Be sure to shake the mixture before

spraying.

 

BUG TIPS: If bitten, apply a small amount of Tea Tree Essential Oil to the

bite and watch how quickly it goes away.

 

MOSQUITO REPELLENT

 

Cut a lemon in half. Use whole cloves and cover both the lemon halves. Lay

on a plate and place in a room. It will keep the mosquitos away and make the

room smell nice. The lemon will work for up to one month! (Veronica Gamper)

If you are bothered by mosquitoes when outdoors, try this easy tip...

gently rub your arms and legs with a fabric softener dryer sheet.

 

Crushed bay leaves,  or vinegar rubbed on your skin repels gnats and

mosquitoes.  Personally, I prefer the crushed bay leaves!

 

FLY REPELLENT

 

Hang a baggie of water over the door. It really works! I don't know why,

but I know that many campers also use this technique to keep flies away.

 

Plant basil near doorways and patios even in a pot in the kitchen.

 

Hang mothballs in old pantyhose near doorways & windows to help repel

flies.

 

SORE MUSCLES:  I use a blend of Rosemary, Peppermint, and Eucalyptus in a

carrier oil.  Use any carrier oil such as jojoba, sweet almond, or grape

seed.  My mother suffers from arthritis and she uses this blend to help her

sleep at night comfortably and without the midnight muscle cramps.

 

DRY SKIN:  All of the citrus essential oils used for allergies is also

excellent for dry skin.  As are, Jasmine, Neroli, chamomile, Carrot seed,

and Patchouli.

 Part One

The Magick of Emotions, Bringing Forth Creation of Your Deepest Hearts

Desires

 

 As I remain open to spirit so that I may deliver this message to you a

visual of ocean currents are pulling me out of my Cancerian shell into the

wide expanses of the oceans of experience. Open spaces have made me nervous

in the past, due to my self-imposed illusions that I needed to maintain my

guard against what might come at me. In this moment my mental barriers are

down and my thoughts are able to go anywhere.

 

 Perhaps I will begin with the word emotion. This word can be traced back

to its original meaning to clarify the process of moving out or transference

from one place to another. Energy in motion, in the physical sense.

Psychology speaking emotion is defined as mental feelings. We as humans

express these feelings of emotions in many ways (e.g. body language, spoken

words, or internal feelings released from within the individuals energetic

field) Many times we feel we must act upon these emotions that present

themselves instead of simply observing our reactions to them for a while

before absorbing their true origin. Are they my feelings personally or have

they been released into my energy field by another energy in motion? By

taking a moment now and then to feel my feelings I allow time to recognize

them as belonging to me. During this process I may choose to release any

feelings or emotions I do not know to be my own. I see these feelings

dissolving into the earth as I release them without intention to form again

so as not to continue passing them on to another unsuspecting person.

 

 When combining magick with emotions I begin to transmute this energy. This

is an ability we all possess as human beings. The ability to physically

manifest your hearts desires by using your emotions and feelings. This

innate human quality has been taught for thousands of years by various

religions and all schools of thought. Years ago I myself jumped in deep by

starting with Alice Bailey's Treatise on White Magic. Only to mirror back to

me so much more I had yet grown to understand. What I did understand from

the various teachings, metaphysical classes and instruction I received was

that they all led me back to that place within me where the key to unlock

the door of knowledge and truth is found.

 

 Once the journey within began I gradually obtained the ability to know and

see clearly the expression of my hearts deepest desires. I began to listen

with awareness to my feelings and emotions. I arrived at a point of simply

knowing how I was feeling. How easy in the past I have replied when asked

how are you feeling have I said fine without actually being connected to my

feelings. It was an automatic response. I could have had a crisis going on

around me that day, still I would say fine. While I do not choose to share

all my feelings with others understandably I certainly do not want to send

this message repeatedly to my soul and my spirit. This preprogrammed,

unconnected response creates spiritual zombies with lack of integrity and

lack of joy for life. Thus fore creating more space (void) between our

authentic divine self, magick and the very truth we are all seeking.

 

 Staying in touch with my true feelings regarding such things, as my job,

relationships, routines, prosperity and preferences are a step towards

embracing honestly who I am, what I want and why I am here on this planet.

When I allow myself to see and accept my inner most feelings without

judgment or fear I find myself reconnecting to my higher self with a deeper

trust and understanding. I know through my own experiences that this is not

always easy. I had to choose to face some truths about myself and my

feelings that were programmed into my subconscious that were no longer my

truths and no longer the way I truly felt about some things if I was really

ready to evolve into the joy filled person that is my authentic divine self,

full of love, honesty, compassion and peace. I found that by getting to know

myself by being aware moment to moment of my honest feelings and emotions

that it dissolved self imposed blocks, shields, (even my crab shell) and

fears of succeeding to the point that I realized I was creating my most

precious desires without effort by way of clearly defined energy and

emotion.

 

 So when you are ready to start creating your personal reality think of

going within and begin by taking inventory of your thoughts, your feelings

and preferences. Remember it will require complete honesty with yourself and

there are no right or wrong answers. It will also require a commitment of

accepting, loving and forgiving yourself in order to become and remain

responsible for your fate through which you will know you are deserving of

receiving all that you desire at all times. Each one of the choices or paths

we choose consciously is right and perfect as it unwinds leading us along

our life journey because when we are connected to the flow of source it is

divine (perfection). Allow yourself the freedom (permission) to live your

life in whatever way you choose while holding the intent to harm no one

along the way and you will surely live your dreams come true. You deserve

it!

 PERSPECTIVES: A Discussion of the Heart

 February - the first thought is love, cupid, St. Valentine's.  Other

holidays that are usually associated with the month are Mardi Gras and

Chinese New Year. This is a good month to recollect past experiences with

love connections.  Of those consulting me as a psychic, the vast majority -

men and women - have a love related query - Stupid Cupid (expanded on later

in this article).  Those consulting me wanting spells, prayers or other

activities most often are asking me to help them make or break love

connections - Hit Witch - that's Ms. Hit witch to you. Some people come to

me as a medium wanting contact with those loved ones who have crossed over -

Message Medium.  The connecting factor with al three areas is love, the

desire for love, the lack of love, or the loss of love  As St. Paul write,

"faith, hope, love and the greatest of these is love".  Some scriptures

translate love as charity, but what is charity if not also love?

 

 A gypsy once told me that there were but two emotions, love and fear.  Al

other emotions are derived from love and fear.  This is a wise observation

that rings true.  The next time someone is angry, rude or otherwise upset,

ask yourself what it is that this person fears the most.  You may be able to

diffuse a situation when you can answer this question.

 

 The emotional experience of love is so desirable that even the gods,

goddesses and deities want, expect and demand it from their devotees.

According to the Jewish Kabbalah, at the end of time, the devil (or whatever

you cal this being) will return to his Father and be forgiven.  Deities not

only want love, they give love, also event to 'wayward sons'.

 

 STUPID CUPID

 

 "Why, oh, why -- why that one and not this one!" or, "do you think my

husband/wife is cheating?", or "will I ever meet my soul mate?".

 

 Yes, love often makes a fool of us -- all of us -- no exceptions  If it

hasn't happened at least once, how can we appreciate real love when it

happens?

 

 As a psychic seeing may people with love problems, I almost dread the

question, "is my husband/wife cheating on me?".  Of course he or she is or

the question would not be asked.  Every now and then I can truthfully say to

the person that the spouse seems interested in someone who has no interest

in him/her.  The old saying was the spouse is the last to know, but the

truth is the spouse is the first to know but often refuses to see or doesn't

care.  This is not to say that the person who is always jealous has a reason

to be suspicious.  The jealous person fears the loss more than he or she

feels the love or feels that the other person is owned by them.  Mainly with

the jealous person, it is low self-esteem talking.

 

 Another type of person gravitates toward unrequested love.  This person

may obsess over a person who doesn't love them at the expense of missing the

person who truly loves them and would make a good mate.  One thing you learn

early on as a psychic is that men and women experience and look for love

differently.  Case in point, the bachelor series has yet to produce a

marriage.  The bachelorete program has resulted in marriages, serious

engagements, etc.  Women may be better judges of who would or would not be a

better mate.  Another learning point I found is never argue with male

clients who have deeply in-ground preferences.  If a blonde is what he

wants, he'll never take a brunette (unless of course she dyes her hair).

Not matter how many times some people are turned down, they keep trying.  At

this point their efforts are obsessive, "will he/she ever come back to me?"

What does this question tell you.  The answer is if the person does come

back, most of the time it doesn't last.  One remembers why it didn't work in

the first place.  Now one thing to avoid are words such as "never",

"always" -- those words are traps.  The best answer is a question "Why do

you want the person back?".  A lot of the times the reason is revenge of

some type or the rejection is so hurtful, that the truth is easier and less

painful to accept.  If you can help the person explore the reasons they feel

the way they do, you probably will help them the most.  A lot of time the he

loves her, she loves another, is the play out of a karmic debt.  Helping

someone accept that the debt owed to them or to the other person has been

paid, hopefully the person can go on with life.

 

 Yes, sometimes cupid is stupid.  Every now and then cupid hits the right

mark.  It is bet to thank our ex's for the lesson and move on to green

fields.

 

 THE HIT WITCH!

 

 Love spells are extremely popular and often work quicker than money

spells.  A lot of emotion goes into a love spell, more than any other type.

The love spell also has the biggest chance of boomeranging or causing great

havoc.  Love spells can turn into hate spells and become very nasty, quick!

 

 Once I had a client who was a powerful drug lord.  The guy was located in

Miami. He had married a Panamanian lady, a hairdresser, mostly to get into

the country.  (The guy was from a South American country that will remain

nameless).  The guy had asked me to bless a snake ring to protect him from

enemies (I understand he had big and many enemies).  Late one night the guy

called me saying he wanted to get rid of his wife and he wanted me to place

a spell on her. I foolishly assumed he wanted a divorce so I said I would to

a spell that the wife would fall in love with someone else and divorce the

guy without asking for money.  "No!", he yelled, "I don't want her with

anyone else except me! I want her to die!".  At that point I declined the

proposition and let it be know that I am NOT a "hit witch"!  Unfortunately,

that guy has not been the only one asking me to 'do someone in__'.

 

 Usually it is a man that asks to get rid of a wife or business rival.  The

person who asks this of you may feel weak or be afraid of not being able to

compete on some level.  Usually the person is wanting you to do something

that is not palatable to him or her, thinking somehow that karma or blame

will come on you - the person performing the requested spell.  I have

reminded those asking for me to work evil that the low of three's comes to

them.  I am the gun but theirs is the finger that pulls the trigger.

 

 Most want love spells however to bring a lover or spouse or to cause the

person to love them.  My form of helping is to teach others to work their

own spells and how to use their energy to bring love.  I've often told

clients that maybe instead of an actual name, that they use 'soul-mate' or

'true love' in the spell.  This way if the one they are seeking is wrong,

the right one will come.

 

 One young girl came to me and said, "the spell did not work for me.  Jason

is seeing someone else."  In the same breath she talked about Chris who was

taking her to the prom and who was very attentive.  Jason later proved to be

an abusive person.  So again, I said better to ask for the right one.  Most

people hurt badly from failed romances.  As if by magic, when the client

gives up on the failed romance, a good one takes its place.  Now it might

not be over night, but it does happen especially if one asks for the right

one.

 

 Oh as for myself, I like the love spells.  The steps involved in the

spells are beautiful and the energy placed in the spell is good.  So if the

spell did bring the one your ask for (hey! Sometimes you do get the one you

want) then at least you have the right one.  But please ALWAYS be careful of

what you ask for because you will more than likely get it.

 

 One time I asked for someone to live with me in my house.  I wasn't

specific and very quickly a brother moved in, a son and daughter moved back,

and at various times my sister and a female roommate moved in.  Soon the

house was crowded (it still is!).  My thinking at the time was a over or

mate would come into my life -- so remember to specify when you are putting

a spell together.  Another name for spell is prayer.

 

 MESSAGE MEDIUM

 

 There are those who come to connect with loved ones on the other side.

However, when I read for others, loved ones invariable show up.  I have seen

more tears during these sessions.  Generally the loved ones seek to comfort

the person.  When someone unexpectedly pop up into the ball it is likely

that the spirit is trying to contact the person and wants to be seen by the

person.  Most of the time the person has already seen or experienced the

presence of the loved one.  Many widows or widowers tell me their spouses

contact them.  The person experiences a feeling as if the spirit is touching

them or lying beside them.  Truly love survives the grave and those we love

continue around us.  There is no need to worry that our love one has not

crossed over.  The truth is the spirit can come visit us.  These spirits are

not caught in between worlds, but can move back and forth.  Often these

spirits are our protectors and our guides.  We can learn to contact them if

we wish.
